Alex Hagan had another very successful Nationals regatta in Perth in March.  Alex represented WA in the interstate regatta in the Queens Cup Eight, where WA came third and received the Bronze medal.

Alex won a Gold medal in the Under 23 Eight, a Gold medal in the Under 23 Coxless pair and a Silver medal in the Open division Coxless pair, finishing just 8.72 seconds behind the 2011 World Championship Bronze medalists.

With her emphasis now on sweep oar Alex has just been selected in the Australian Eight, which will compete in Lucerne shortly with the aim of qualifying for the London Olympics. This is the culmination of years of hardwork, dedication and determination.
